Hello Team, My Name is Manorath Palan – Human Resources Professional from Mumbai, India

I started my career with Marriott International in 2012 where I joined the Human Resources Department at Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel and Marriott Executive Apartments, Mumbai – India post my MBA in Human Resources from Mumbai Education Trust-Bandra, Mumbai.

In 2014, I got an opportunity to move to the Middle East to pursue my career in Human Resources at the prestigious Marriott Marquis City Center Doha- Qatar as HR associate and was promoted to Executive and Assistant Human Resources Manager in my two years of tenure.

I have relocated to Dubai in 2018 joining the multi property Marriott Hotel Al Jaddaf and Marriott Executive Apartments as Assistant HR Manager. During this period, I was assigned to assist the operations in Four Points by Sheraton, Sharjah where I was appointed as the Human Resources Manager during my taskforce assignment in 2020 eventually securing a permanent role during the challenging pandemic COVID-19 period.

In July 2022 I joined the pre-opening team of Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah as Human Resources Manager, where I helped set up the foundation of HR department and implemented policies and procedures for the property towards its successful opening in December 2022.
